0911 Lot13 - Byalee Delight

November 2009 Auction
Chestnut mare, 25/09/02
PPT to Byalee Briar
Sandpit x Phanessa
On account of Byalee

Byalee Delight offers first-time or financially challenged breeders the opportunity to step into the world of warmblood breeding, being a beautiful chestnut TB mare in foal to the magnificent Byalee Briar.

This mare is just 7yo, the friendliest of the herd, follows you around the paddock and generally makes herself known. But in addition to a wonderful temperament, she is in fact the most amazing mover, far surpassing most TBs, and has missed her calling as a dressage horse.

The foal, however, will be able to fulfil that potential, and has a 50/50 chance of being chestnut or palomino. It will also have a wonderful chance of being a successful competition horse – Briar’s sire Bjorsells Briar scored higher for his jumping than dressage in his stallion testing, and went on to be the world’s top dressage stallion for seven years – and
his jumping was better?!

Delight – known as Princess to her friends – also has performance breeding in her bloodlines including Kaoru Star, which appears in many top horses even including Byalee Romance some generations back. This is an excellent opportunity to leapfrog into the world of success in Olympic disciplines. See you there!
